STARS Mission: STeamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports ‘STARS’ mission is to empower and enrich lives through adaptive recreational services.

STeamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports 'STARS' was founded in 2006 and became a 501(c)3 non profit organization in 2007. In winter 10-11 STARS served over 300 individual clients with over 1000 skier days.  STARS provides one on one instruction, specialized equiptment, and group programming throuth the help of over 150 paid and volunteer instructors.  STARS has also now expanded it's programming into summer by offering programs and camps in biking, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and waterskiing.
