Winter Equipment Rentals

Rental reservations must be completed prior to any STARS lesson. If you arrive to your lesson without equipment, we will reschedule your lesson if possible.

STARS has partnered with Steamboat’s Christy Sports Gondola Square for basic winter rental equipment. Ski or snowboard packages including helmets are FREE for STARS’ participants. In addition, STARS’ family members will get a discounted rate on ski or snowboard packages.

Christy Sports Gondola Square STARS Participant Rentals

You must be participating in STARS to redeem the sponsorship discount from Christy Sports. Please note, when following the link, you will be required to submit a 20% deposit down on your order, which will be credited back to you accordingly upon arrival and equipment fitting at Christy Sports Gondola Square. Family members, the deposit will be applied to the discounted order upon arrival and equipment fitting.

If you are registered for a sit-skiing lesson, you will need to pick up a helmet from Christy Sports before you arrive to your lesson. Helmet rentals from Christy Sports are FREE for STARS’ participants.  STARS will provide the sit-ski equipment.

What To Expect For Your Sit Skiing Lesson

  • STARS participants who have a reservation for lessons with us will receive a lift ticket for those scheduled days. Lift tickets are to be used during a STARS lesson. There are no complimentary or discounted lift tickets for family members of participants in STARS programs.

  • $459. Adaptive Season Pass inquiries must be directed to the Main Ticket Office at Steamboat Ski Resort either in person or via email, tickets@steamboat.com. *PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY RESORT FOR 26-27 SEASON.

    • If you have NOT had an adaptive season pass before, you will need to complete the Adaptive Pass Verification form and send the completed form to tickets@steamboat.com or bring it with you in person when you go to the Main Ticket Office at Steamboat Ski Resort to inquire on the adaptive season pass. It requires a signature from your physician stating you qualify for the adaptive pass program.

  • PLEASE CALL STEAMBOAT RESORT FOR MOST ACCURATE PRICING. Pricing is subject to fluctuate throughout the season. Can be purchased at The Main Ticket Office or at the STARS at Base Camp office.

    • If you have NOT had an adaptive day lift ticket before and you have NOT participated in a STARS Private Lesson, you will need to complete the Adaptive Pass Verification form and email the completed form to info@steamboatstars.com. It requires a signature from your physician stating you qualify for the adaptive pass program. *If you have taken a lesson with STARS, please let us know ahead of time before completing the form below by emailing info@steamboatstars.com and our staff will assist you further.
